From 3 to 14 December 2018 Katowice, Poland will host the most important global forum devoted to the climate policy – the 2018 UN Climate Summit. About 20 thousand people from 190 countries will take part in the event, including political leaders, activists, representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientific community and business sector. To find out more on COP24 click here.

This year’s UN Climate Summit will be accompanied by a joint symposium – Safeguarding Our Climate, Advancing Our Society – held on 10 December 2018 and co-organized by the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS).
